ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Submit a completed application (twsmt-student-application.pdf) with the $50 application fee.
    If you are paying by cashiers check or money order, please mail the application and fee to 10845 Kuykendahl Rd., Ste. 102, The Woodlands, TX 77382. If you are paying by cash, we recommend that you schedule an appointment to hand deliver the application and fee. If you are paying by credit card, you can mail, email (info@woodlandsmassageschool.com), or fax (832-791-5860) the application and process payment over the phone. No personal checks.   2. Be aware that a prospective student is ineligible for state licensure if he or she has been convicted of, pled guilty to, entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to, or received a deferred adjudication to prostitution or another sexual offense, until the fifth anniversary from the date of conviction for a misdemeanor of moral turpitude or a felony, or the fifth anniversary from the date of conviction of a violation of the Massage Therapy Act. The 84th Texas State Legislature defined massage therapy education “post secondary education,” thus students can no longer enroll in massage therapy school unless they are beyond the age of compulsory education; an emancipated minor; or have a high school diploma, GED, or home school certificate. Students who have completed their secondary education prior to age 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the enrollment agreement. A prospective student shall furnish a photo ID to be copied and retained in their school file.
  3. Attend the admission interview.

Because we strongly commit to each student's success, we do in turn look for each applicant to have sufficient emotional maturity, academic and economic stability, and motivation to satisfactorily pursue massage therapy training.
A tour of the school is offered to each student and can be scheduled by appointment. However, if you choose to tour the school this can also be done at the time of the admissions interview which is part of the admissions application process. The purpose of the tour is to familiarize the applicant with the facility and learning environment and to answer any questions concerning massage and Massage Therapy Training. It is also intended to help the student determine if he/she feels if The Woodlands School of Massage Therapy is the right learning environment for them. The tour is not required but is recommended.
